Weather: 70’s and steamy
As the Pax arrived at the AO, curiosity began to rise as to why a random table was placed in the middle of the parking lot. Questions weren’t answered until the mosey was completed. With 2 FNGs on site, the full disclaimer and core principles were shared, and off we went with high knees, butt kickers, karaoke x2 right into a COP:
- SSH x25IC
- Merkins x10 OYO
- Florida Strawberry Pickers x10 IC
- Merkins x10 OYO
- Windmills x10 IC
- Merkins x10 OYO
- Imperial Walkers x10 IC
- Merkins x10 OYO
- HillBilly Walkers x10 IC
- Merkins x10 OYO
The reason for the table was unveiled…and it wasn’t pretty. Out came some sort of home made ouija looking board, or maybe it’s a Mumblechatter Compass, Wheel of Misfortune, Pain Picker, Plywood of Pain, Spin to Win, Wheel of Death, or maybe Sinister Twister! Who knows what to call it, but it was painful!!
6 stations were spread across the AO, all with 3 sets of exercises listed. Once the board was spun, you proceeded to each station to perform what was directed on the board. In F3 style, the FNGs were invited to spin first, and then ShamWow (respect, respect, respect) spun for the third lap, and rounded out the 4th with what was left. The spins directed as follows:
Lap 1: #3 exercise at each station x30
- LBCs
- Calf Raises
- Alternating Shoulder Taps
- Hello Dolly
- Squats
- Merkins
Lap 2: #2 exercise at each station x30
- Side Straddle Hop Squats (SSH in Squat position)
- Carolina Dry Docks
- American Hammers
- Monkey Humpers
- Makhtar Ndiayes (Plank to elbow and back up)
- Box Cutters
Lap 3: All 3 exercises at each station x20 reps
- Mountain Climbers, Side Straddle Squats, LBC
- Freddie Mercury, Carolina Dry Docks, Calf Raises
- Lunge Walk, American Hammers, Alternating Shoulder Taps
- Peter Parkers, Monkey Humpers, Hello Dolly
- Leg Lifts, Makhtar Ndiayes, Squats
- Apollo Ohno, Box Cutters, Merkins
Lap 4: #1 exercises at each station x20 reps
- Mountain Climbers
- Freddie Mercury
- Lunge
- Peter Parkers
- Leg Lifts
- Apollo Ohno
The pax concluded right at 6am, and it couldn’t have come any sooner. With the spread of the stations, about 1.6 miles were covered between them all.
It was great to have 2 FNGs on this fine gloom. Altar Boy graciously accepted and welcomed his new nickname and FreeFall shared of his love of heart raising activities, including sky diving, hence the nickname.
