Main Street Recon Mission

Weather: Warm and Muggy

No, it’s not Music on Main, First Friday, Ovation on Main Street or a classic car show, it’s F3 Lakewood Ranch taking Main street by storm.  Week 2’s Recon Mission was a bit more successful from Week 1.  Main Street proved to provide a great deal of pain options and decent exposure to every day exercisers.  The Pax took off for an easy run down Main Street and looping around the east parking lot to survey any concerns about those who might still be in the FartSack.  We want to be disrupters to the status quo, but don’t want to wake any angry Sad Clowns.

For COP, we circled up in the parking lot next to Pinchers (away from the apartments) for the following:

  1. Windmills x10IC
  2. Imperial Walkers x10IC
  3. Mountain Climbers x20IC
  4. Peter Parkers x10 IC
  5. SSH x20IC

The Thang

We headed back down Main Street, stopping at each set of benches (and boy are there a lot of benches on Main Street), to do 20 Dips and 20 Step Ups (per leg).  Once we reached the end of Main Street, it was time to return up the other side with 20 Derkins and 20 Leg Lift things that Chili Pepper introduced us to (think Step Ups but never taking one leg off the bench and never stopping the motion).

Upon return to the fountain, we partnered up for a round of Dora including

  • 100 Derkins
  • 200 Dips
  • 300 Step-ups (regular ones)

Not bad for what is usually considered an off-day!

Prayers/Praises

  1. Praise to Papa Smurf for another killer newsletter – Fartsack Pimples?
  2. Prayers for one of our brothers dealing with marriage issues
  3. Prayers for Snipers neighbor and the family as they celebrate the life of a great man
  4. Prayers for Chili Peppers nephew, who is recovering just fine.
  5. Prayers for Papa Smurf’s sister

It was a great morning, at a great futre AO.  Stay tuned for announcements of our plan to use this AO.
