Lambeau made me hungry, so I got 3-ways

It’s Monday, which means time to kick off another week with a thrilling F3 beatdown. Core principles and disclaimers were read, and the mozi took us down to the area of the dog park, with some butt kickers, nur, and carioca x2 along the way. At the dog park, we circled up for the COP with side straddle hops, windmills, strawberry pickers, mountain climbers, imperial walkers, arm circles and Michael Phelps (may or may not have been in that order). At some point while we were there, Chili made it, clearly full of excitement over the “penalty” burpees that he had earned. We then did an Indian run back up the hill and headed to the Echo Chamber.

Unfortunately, YHC was completely devoid of inspiration or creativity when putting together this workout, so the old standby, the 3 way, was brought out. Lambeau’s PBJ workout from Saturday must have subconsciously planted the need for a food related workout. For those unfamiliar, here’s how it works: we start at one end of the rink, where the pax are instructed to do a set of one exercise. Then, take the designated mode of transportation to the center line, do a set of another exercise there, and then take the mode of transportation to the other end of the rink for a 3rd exercise. After that, go back to the center line and then then first end line (same mode of transportation) to do another set of the exercises you did at those locations the first time. To add a little fun, a lap around the parking lot was added to the end of each set, if for no other reason than to annoy the pax who ran 18 miles yesterday. The number of reps for each exercise was increased as we went along, because why not? The 3-way exercise sets were:

15 each:

  • Merkins
  • Big boy situps
  • Leg raises
  • Transportation: Toy soldiers

20 each:

  • Carolina drydocks
  • Mountain climbers
  • Monkey humpers
  • Transportation: High knees

25 each:

  • Wide merkins
  • LBCs
  • Salsa dips
  • Transportation: Bear crawl

30 each:

  • Evander Holyfield
  • American Hammers
  • Hillbilly walkers
  • Transportation: Crab walk

35 each:

  • Shoulder taps
  • Mountain climbers
  • Calf raises
  • Transportation: Duck walk

Due to time constraints, no laps after the final set of 3 ways. No one complained.
