Today’s workout was inspired by a section of “Freed to Lead” which is the other F3 book. There’s a passage in that book where they look around the Circle of Trust and realize that everyone there is 43 years old. Why? It’s at which men find themselves with growing bellies (so they need the fitness), and often without an older authority figures in their life (so they need the fellowship and support).
We started with a mosey, then an up-down exercise. We’re in a circle and everyone is doing high knees. Then the first PAX say “down”. We go down for a merkin, then back up to high knees. The second PAX says “down” and we’re down for another merkin. It’s almost like a series of burpess, but not quite!
Then we divided into small groups for a 4-corner exercise. With every lap of the 4 corners, one PAX took the lead. They led the cadence and even had their choice of exercise at one corner.
Welcome to “Plunger” who joined F3 today.
Prayers for Crabcake’s sister in law, Stagecoach’s job hunt and his sister, Cudchewer’s wife.
