The BackBlast:

Started with the MISSION STATEMENT:

Our mission is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership…

Let’s recite this more. It seems the pax can’t start a workout reminder of the five core principals so they instigated it on their own via mumble chat style (good work).

WARMUP: top down – OH claps, Michael Phelps, arm circles, Michael Phelps, SSH, Imperial (or Zombie) walkers, stretch down each leg, to your six for old man back stretches… i guess it took too long because mumble chatter began about how this wasn’t a workout, more like a lounge session. And at last a Mosey. runners ran the big parking lot loop, ruckers shortcutted as needed to finish relative in same time.

the move it: divide into 4 groups, one pax from each group work together to move the pile about 40 yards away one item at a time, whilst the remainder of pax continuously perform horizontal core exercise(s)  of their choice. Pile consisted of of various coupons (60-lb sand bag, 45lb plates, 25lb old school tiny hole plate, extra ruck sacks with weight, 25lb barbells, 30lb barbells, 25 & 20lb barbells). when the entire pile was moved, pax swapped out and repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat.

the MOVE yourself: all pax on the line, Sprint towards the far end of parking lot. When the first pax reaches the end, all pax turn about where they are at and sprint back to start line. Shortened and repeat. Shortened and repeat. Lengthen and repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat. (about 10 minutes worth) … a great max heart rate effort, but frikin’ Airwolf was in beast mode, leading the pax on the last three to four sprints… WITH A RUCK!

Great work to all (including the one pax I cant remember, I owe you some burpees)
