Weather: Slightly warmer

The lot of Ft Hamer continues to get more and more full, and it is declared every time we arrive that we should shut this place down…and that will never happen!!

14 men posted in order to continue their acceleration of their King…and accelerate they did.  Some with Ruck, many without.  Ruckers took to the bridge for a 4 and 1 style beatdown with a 4 minute ruck and 1 minute of PT.  Word on the street that the 4 minutes often included some double time.

The remaining men took to the figure 8 course for a fartlek style workout.  Hard pace run for the smaller loop, recovery on the larger loop.  The pax mainly stayed together with Goob electing to bring in the six, as he often does – a true HIM amongst us.

Kudos to Dragnet and Cavallino for their virgin posts at Ft. Hamer. Cavallino taking the opportunity to wear the ruck as often as possible and Dragnet going way out of comfort zone and joining the runners.  He learned quickly that the warm-up run to the fountain (is that thing really a fountain) felt a bit more like a sprint to him.  In due time, you will be leading us in the running, Dragnet!
