There’s been a fashion lately for PAX doing a workout with 30 t0 60 lbs on their back. “Rucking” is child’s play compared to Stagecoach who invented “Crocking”. He forgot his sneakers and did this morning’s workout entirely in Crocs. Someone please file that away as an idea for a future CSAUP.
We started today’s warm-up with a mosey up the “hill” out of Adventure Park. We did an exercise at each speed bump.
We returned to the echo chamber where the main workout began. The workout was based on a beep-test. To get started, we had 25 seconds to run from one end of the hockey rink and back. After 5 seconds rest, we now had 24 seconds to run there and back again. Then after 5 seconds rest, we had 23 seconds. This went on with the allowed time kept dropping until PAX could no longer complete the run in time. Most us dropped about the 15 second mark.
We repeated this process with 10 big boys, 10 merkins and 5 burpees. Airwolf was in beast mode and survived about 3 more rounds of burpees than anyone else.
We finished with a Round of Mary with 1 minute for each exercise. The only catch was that the exercises had to alternate between being on the ground, and up on our feet.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Stagecoach’s friend who was recently diagnosed with cancer, Condenser’s family, and Bing’s work situation.
