QiC arrived early to find one other car in the parking lot.  Not recognizing the car and seeing the accumulated moisture on the front window the QIC parked a few spots away in case the person inside was a NSFNG!!

As the other PAX started to arrive the QIC was happy to learn that the car in question belonged to Gridlock…soon after learning this a headlight appeared in the distance and within what seemed like an instant Gridlock had joined us for the review of today’s agenda.

The Thang

Progression Run…..Start running at a 9 minute per mile pace and increase each mile by 10 seconds….the plan was for a 9,8:50,8:40, 8:30, 8:20, and 8:10 mile and then a .25 recovery to the parking lot.

Once the run started and Bing warned us of the potential for flatulence due to his Spicy Chicken Sandwich the PAX was quickly at an 8:50 pace trying to stay in front of Bing.  The good news is that Spinal Tap decided to skip the peanut butter last night so any PAX running close to him would be safe…

PAX was able to stay together for the until mile 3 when the three Greyhounds, Gridlock, Spinal Tap, and Goob found their stride and the rest of us were just hoping to place in the  Superfecta.

All 7 PAX made it back to the parking lot still standing and Pincher was happy to share with us that he really enjoyed the run……
