A beautiful morning at the tower. We had few latecomers, but it’s all better than being in the fartsack. We also welcome CSUP (sorry, that may be a typo) from downrange.
The idea behind today’s workout was simple: the Tower.
Too often we’ve been denied the use of the tower by events or other groups. Sometimes it was rowers, sometimes it was an energy drink guy, once it was even Ivanka Trump. It’s just not the same to do workouts in Dillard’s parking lot.
So today we made full use of the tower.
The workout was a series of 5 exercises, followed by a run up the tower. I had dig into the Exicon to find an exercise for these 5 letters:
- T: Tony Hawk burpees
- O: Outlaws
- W: Wojo squats
- E: E2ks (Elbow-to-knee)
- R: Ranger merkins
We did several repeats of this pattern (5 exercises, then a jailbreak) so we got to use the tower plenty, and we finished with the COT looking out over Sarasota.
