Most pax dawned a 30lb ruck and off we go:
Mosey down to the floating dock. 1 minute power up squats, rest, 1 minute power pull ups. 15 minutes of short 100-200 yard mosey in a part of the park less traveled, stopping along the way to do exercises in a powerful way while the six caught up. Focus was to be on form and moving powerfully.
at three-quarter past we were a bit from base, but headed out away from base camp for 5-mintues, each pax at thier own pace, which was to be brisk walk or slow jog. Then after 5 minutes heading away from base, we turned and ran quickly back to base camp, with the goal of making it back, all the way to base camp in time to wrap up. We succeeded and thus did a short round of Merry.
Prayers for our pax to be men of unity and not division as an example to our nation. In light of those fighting disease and cancer, praise for wisdom and intelligence to be used for healing and life giving efforts not for destruction.
