Great morning to run, temp right at 50 and just a little breeze. Been a while since we’ve done speed work, so Fartleks was the order of the gloom (fun to say and do).

Short warm up to the fountain, and each of the Pax paired up with a partner. At the fountain, one man kept going on the little loop clockwise while his partner reversed and went counter clockwise. Increased pace and effort until they met their partner again roughly halfway around, then recovery until they met them again. Rinse and repeat until shortly after 06:00.

Great job by all Pax and fun change of pace….literally.

Praises and prayers both spoken and unspoken. Thankful for so much it is hard to articulate – to live where we do, the health to be physically active, this group of men and the motivation they provide, the brotherhood of F3….truly blessed.
