YHC arrived just before 6AM.  8 (!!) had already completed the regular loop @ what is believed to be Blazing Saddles record pace @ 22MPH.  FNG Local named (born / raised in St Pete; friend of Olympus).

Route for 6AM loop was set: Lorraine south to Blue Lake, turn right / west to LWR Blvd, turn right / north then right turn / east onto Deer.  Stay on Deere north, cross University into Country Club through guard gate and continue on Legacy to (2) segments under attack: Mt Dora (0.20 miles) and Legacy Hill (0.44 miles), both with some elevation that impacts pace.

6AM loop continued the aforementioned spici-ness; highlighted by Blue Lake westbound @ 21.6mph.  Cottontail and Cupid peeled off a little early once inside Country Club.  Brutus, Pincher & Spinal Tap had time for 2 trips on each targeted segment.

77 Achievements were awarded among the pax for the morning (NOT including Kona or FNG “Local”) – an amazing morning w/ Blazing Saddles.  PR’s galore.  Pincher earned a 3rd place trophy on Legacy Hill @ 27.1 mph, with a strategy set to make a legit attack at KOM.  Spinal Tap with an 8th place trophy, also on Legacy Hill.

Kudos to @Spinal Tap w/ 30 Achievements alone (mostly new segments), but solidifying his position as Rookie of the Year w/ Blazing Saddles – dude took the training wheels off in January – unlimited potential.

It was a spectacular day on 2 wheels – Blazing Saddles members truly accelerating as a team – so fun to experience and be a part of.  Need to get the “B” group going….

OUT – Brutus
