Woke up this at 4:00am checked the q-sheet, nobody on – so I grabbed it.
Drove to site early and off loaded some coupons around the parking lot then waited for the victims.
SnapShot was the only taker for this morning. We started off with some side SSH, IW’s, Leg Stretches, then a slightly linger mosey. Snap and YHC both hate running. But honestly he really struggles with it… so we did it more! didnt care how fast we were going, even if it was sub walking pace just faked a a jog, we kept going.
Returned to the start for some back stretches in prep for the thang.
First station, 60 lb sandbag and ruck sack for upright rows AMRAP. We took a short jog down and around to the next coupon station. Grabbed a coupon bicep curls one arm at a time slow and good form AMRAP. Switched Arms, repeat. Short jog around to the next coupon station where we did a weighted lawn-mower pull start from planked position, AMRAP, switch sides, Repeat. Jog to next station, biceps curls , then worked the way back in opposite…. I think you get the picture.
last up to get a bit of cardio in was a two lap non-stop jog, sprint, jog, sprint, jog, sprint , changing at each turn. NO STOPPING OR WALKING! I wanted Snap to find that he could slow his run pace and recover without walking. I’m not a professional and have no idea if this was helpful physically, but i hope he found a new concept that will help him push his running endurance. Then i remembered he had quadruple bypass when he was a young man (37years) and thanked God I didn’t nee to use my CPR skills.
