78 Degrees and Humid

YHC announced that we would be running the Northern Loop, 6.2 miles, and the goal was to do a warmup mile together and then to complete 5 miles at a Tempo pace while trying to increase the pace each mile……

The group started off together and a few decided that today wasn’t the best day for a tempo push and decided to hang together and complete approximately 5 miles together…..modify as necessary.

After the mile warmup YHC began his tempo run and dropped down to a 7:45 pace the remaining pax were a fex steps behind him…..after approximately a 1/2 mile YHC encountered a gator bigger than the one in the picture crossing the street in front of him…..needless to say YHC quickly reversed direction and ran back to the other PAX.  The gator just continued across the street and went on about his day.

5 PAX complete the 6.2 mile loop and many were able to complete the Tempo challenge….YHC made it 3.25miles before having to back off because of the humidity and his mental midgetry.

All PAX returned safely to the parking lot by 0607.
