Number of Pax: 5

Pax Names: Enron, Fireball, Goob, Spinal Tap, Yamaha,

Number of FNGS: 0

FNG Names:

QIC: Enron

The BackBlast:

Weather: temp about right, no moon and dark, humidity….yep

Goob showed up early for EC. A handful of regulars rolled in, but there were also several conspicuously absent – possibly due to YHC challenging participants to break out the old school shorty running shorts and they weren’t comfortable showing that much skin… Oh, well.

05:15 arrived and we rolled after the 5 core principles were shared.
The Thang: Warm up on the outside of the figure 8 at a group at a comfortable pace – 2.6 ish miles. Back out the gate and across the road to the bridge. YHC had placed chem lights (2 on each end of the bridge), one at beginning of the climb and one where it levels off. The PAX was challenged to maintain the earlier pace, push hard on the marked inclines, recover on the flat, and resume pace as quickly as possible. All made the there and back again trip across the bridge twice, pushing themselves, and finishing strong.

Prayers:
• Fireball’s 2.0 challenges with assuming the mantle of adulthood
• Spinal Tap’s grandfather health issues
Praises:
• Goob and Yamaha’s children safe and happy though another school year

I always enjoy the easy pace runs because the conversations that occur indicate men that are comfortable with who they are and with each other. These are also conversations that may not happen anywhere else.

Enron out.
