MoM: Fireball's "100": From your back, legs straight and arms extended near your sides: exhale and tighten your core bringing your arms and legs to 6" and head up, move your arms slightly up and down together to the cadence (1-10), relax at "10", inhale, exhale, and repeat until you've completed this 10 times (10x10=100)
Announcements: TONIGHT @Motorworks Brewery @5:30 there is an Alzheimer's Association gathering (ping Manziel with questions); Fort DeSoto triathlon on 8/21 for any looking to get a shorter one out of the way possibly; Augusta half-Ironman is Sept 25th; WildPax is the weekend before Thanksgiving (more info coming); Fireball has two opening's for Ragnar (DEC 2-3) still to fill
TaPs: Mrs. Doubtfire, Pete (Usher's friend), Bellringer and others battling cancer continue to need prayer; DR pax Pelé Blanco is a chaplain with the Ridgeland Police Dept (near Jackson, MS) and one of their officers who he knew well, Ray Daniels, committed suicide -- visitation and services are over the coming days and he asked for prayers for that family and those who knew him inside and outside the PD.
I had it in Monday's BB, too, but take this last one as a reminder to reach out to pax and other people in your life to see how they are doing; know that suicide is unfortunately a very real problem (has been and appears that it will continue to be). If you find yourself low, know the YOU ARE NOT ALONE! We all need each other.
