The BackBlast:

Lot’s of down range regular riding PAX, so a bit light on the numbers…seemed like a good time to do a good recovery ride average pace 20-21mph.

Fireball was the only brave sole to crack the dawn with some EC @0500 with YHC. We did the usual Out and Back for right at 20 miles. Little quick COT and leaving Fireball to head back for a run with the 2.o, glad to see this be the 3rd day in a row for them.

Off Brutus, Bing, and YHC went, calling for something a bit different, heading up Hidden River, out to Lakewood Ranch Blvd than north to Rangeland, From Rangeland we went north again on White Eagle till 44th, then took that to Bournside. By this point Brutus was more than likely debating a turn around to head home, but since YHC razzed him about those thoughts before we left, he stuck it through. From Bournside we rode south back to Rangeland to Post, back through Greenbrook. Bing wanted a little extra so we took Brutus back through Hidden River and rounded out a full 20+ on the 0600 loop.

It was almost like a shield lock ride, just missing one piece of the puzzle. So at least you know you were thought about this gloom Ripken, and it wasn’t cause you got us lost or had to pee yourself.

Pincher Out!
