The BackBlast:
Woke up and signed up on the Q sheet early this morning, unaware that Bing had volunteered on Slack the day before.
Bing yielded to what I had planned which was to make use of what I had already in the Jruck
no warm up – just straight to it. Grabbed the little giant ladder from the bed and disassembled it into three pieces. And headed out for an out and back.
we carried the ladder out in pieces then assembled and brought back as a whole. Taking turns carrying the sections and mixing in a couple of double times we head out about a mile.
on the way back two carried the assembled ladder in a frame setup in an upright position. None of the three groups were permitted to carry the ladder in the same fashion.
while the pair head back the other four planked for a 20 breaths count then double timed to catch up and swapped out.
once everyone had a turn we fully extended the ladder and all six had to be engaged with the ladder.
while the ladder was not heavy the rigid frame provided an awkwardness to the carry.
we made it back to the intersection with 15 minutes to spare. YHC knew it was about a mile loops around the back way block and so that was the final leg. YHC quickly informed the pax that we would be carrying someone on the ladder. We used the back stretch to practice a bit then hustled one more long double time before loading up pusher and carrying him back into camp for impression.
good ruck and better cofeetorium
