Gotta love Ecclesiastes 4:9-2 if you are in F3…it permeates throughout all we do:

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone. Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

We were a great 3 strands today! Train was set to be our Q today, but had “mission interrupted” (Jesus role modeled many of these where He stopped to render spiritual and physical aid en route to another purpose)  to aid a homeless person in peril en route. Nice work to serve the higher priority Train. Having communicated he would not be on time, the “rest of the pax” got things moving until he got to the AO.

“Rest of pax” is a misnomer since we had 2 plus Train. Many pax traveling, too many on IR, and a few MIA today.

COP: Lead by YHC – Michael Phelps, Abe Vigodas, Imperial Walkers, Peter Parkers, Parker Peters and Mountain Climbers. 1/4 mile mosey around AO start. Shared the principles and mission (of course!).

THE THANG: Seeing no Train yet, YHC led on the fly:

Bird Hole Q

  • Frog Jumps
  • Suicides in parking lot (5 stripes)
  • Line Hops  (10 back and forth over parking stripe; 2X each of 5 stripes)
  • Reverse Suicides (same stripes but start on longest away then go shorter)
  • Lunges
  • Inchworm, with added 2 merkins to each one
  • Stagger Right Merkins
  • Stagger Left Merkins
  • 50 LBC’s
  • WWII Sit Ups  (idea and lead by El Capitan)
  • Protractor (also by El Capitan)

Train Q

Train choo choo-ed in and took the next lead:

  • Mosey to sundial circles for challenging version of American Hammers but sitting on short wall swinging legs over and back each side. Repeato for other side.
  • Crunchy Frog – on the wall
  • Worst Merkins Ever (a/k/a WMD’s): Wide, Middle and Diamond
  • Freddie Mercurys
  • Get Ups (similar to Turkish with less hand usage)
  • Jump Merkins: push up on upward motion of merkin to leave ground for 1- inches
  • Step ups (10 each leg) on nearby benches

El Capitan Q:

Head to another set of benches for:

  • Dips
  • Derkins
  • Carolina DryDocks
  • Mosey with regular, NUR and High Knees
  • Lunges
  • Mosey to tennis courts using courts lines for 5 Merkins/bear crawl to next of 8 lines/5 merkins;. Repeato with Mountain Climbers

COT: Countarama, Namearama, Announcments and Prayers. Many of the latter for marriages, spouse’s new job, businesses, health of family members and more. Cafeteria on site with El Cap’s blessing to us of Hope Farm Honduran Coffee.
