This Gloom, as usual on Tuesday we had an EC Loop. Consisting of Ripken, Trump, Fireball, Olympus, and YHC. No Gridlock but that’s ok official launch is 0600 but it seemed a bit odd he’d not be in for some EC…

Off we went for the normal loop. After about 8 miles YHC decided to give the new Tri bike a good spin, and picked up the pace. Looping around the end of Lorraine at Fruitville giving the rest the PAX a bit of a head start for the last 10 miles. The boys held their own and it was a challenge to chase them, allowing for some extra fast/hard work for YHC. (IM training at its best). We all got back to Wawa within the 0600 timeframe but we still had no sightings of our Q for this gloom, we must of missed the sign…

YHC took the opportunity to say the prayer and head out with Olympus and Brutus who where the only two joining in for the 0600 loop. Olympus needed to cut it short this loop, so we accommodated, and routed ourselves toward his place to maximize the ride time left together. Then after we dropped him off we headed back towards Brutus Land, at which point we both split to head our own ways home.

In all there were 20-40 miles rode by each rider, with paces in the 20 plus for most the ride.

Prayers for Olympus 2.0 healing, Bing on his fluttering heart, Ripken’s bum foot, Yamaha curse. Serious note, Safety First have quality and fully charged lights for every ride!

Side note, YHC pulled a Ripken…when driving home notices a missing water bottle form the back holders. remembered hitting some rough roads on Lakewood Ranch Blvd earlier so took the car drive to work that way and recovered the lost bottle.
