The BackBlast:

YHC got an earlier than expected bedtime, thanks to the lousy CFP National Title game. The champion was expected, but the fact that both Kent State and my Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets both were more competitive against uGA was not.

We headed out into the gloom as 5:30 approached (it really was gloom, too, as the community was covered in a blanket of fog). PAX arrived and huddled up except for WD. Finally at the stroke of 5:30:15 WD emerged from his car. The preamble and disclaimer were given and 4 PAX headed out for an extended mosey complete with Bernie Sanders (“Nur” to our members that have Suncoast origins), shuffles, and high knees. PAX gathered up in a circle that more resembled a classroom and finished the warm up with SSHs, Weedpickers, Windmills, and Moroccan Night Clubs (of which I am told there is nothing of the like in night clubs in Morocco).

PAX assembled near the wall and paired up for Doracides. PAX worked in pairs to complete 100 Merkins, 200 BBSUs, and 300 Squats. PAX A began the work while PAX B ran to first lightpost, completed one burpee, back to the wall, out to second lighpost for two burpees and back to the wall. PAX A and PAX B switch.

After the Doracides, PAX engaged in OYO 11’s. Mike Tysons (embrace the suck) and Dips. Much mumblechatter ensued at the wonderful break the dips provided from the Mike Tysons. Time was called at 6:15.

PAX reassembled at the gather spot and counted off followed by Name-a-Rama and COT.

@WinnDixie has the Q on Friday and @PapaSmurph has it on Tuesday.

Naked Man Moleskin: Bringing F3 to Port Charlotte is tough. We don’t have a large group yet and it can be discouraging to prepare twice a week for what may be 4 or 5 PAX or may be a solo or 2-Man BD. Every FNG is a celebration. I will also be happy when we get our park back. I don’t know when the right time to add more days or sites is. Thanks you to each of you HIMs for supporting the movement and each other.
