6 gathered at The Pier for our inaugural Christmas Of Pain. This year, we had the 12 days of Christmas – a classic of course but with YHC spins on the holiday pain. We were blessed with a downrange post from Curveball who hails from the Knoxville pax. Glad to have you! We were also glad to have met his M who walked the Pier while we worked out; she is a very active and proud member of FIA in Knoxville. Aye!

Before the holiday action, YHC passed out Santa hats and sleigh bells to all. We looked like very festive elves and jingled all the way!

Start with one Partridge, then 2 Turtle Doves, then back to one partridge and repeat the progression though each day. Do as many reps as in the number of the day unless marked with an “X” which is simply take the number of the days and multiply to get number of reps. On Day 5, pick the first choice (Scott Calvin’s Dips) on first round, then move to next one (Kevin’s Declines) and so forth.

Yeah…well my design for the 12 days was well engineered if we had about 100 minutes. I called out modifications on the fly to get at least one of each done. I will re-engineer for next year, but we had fun in the variety and camaraderie of sharing this unique cheer together.
