Weather: For some it seemed to be raining…Shhhh don’t tell them, it really wasn’t.

YHC woke up early for some EC that was mentioned the night before. After being awoken by thunder and rain throughout the night there seemed to be little hope. 4:15 alarm goes off, Slack Cycling channel was opened and there it was…Ripken “Out”. So YHC then pulled up the live radar and noticed it looked like there might be a chance for the usual 6 am launch, set alarm for 45 min later to see how it played out. Needless to say when Slack was checked, after the second alarm, there was a few more dropouts…weather related. Yet the live radar looked good so YHC was going to post and was fully expecting it to be a solo post, AirPods were worn.

We mention that we have to be at the AO’s not just for ourselves but more importantly that other brother that is also posting. Well YHC thanks you Brutus for being there this gloom, as the bike light roll in from Lorraine YHC was happy to pull the AirPods out of the ears. This wasn’t going to be a solo ride this gloom.

Route was determined on the fly as the true Q was not in attendance, so off we went at a steady 20-24 MPH pace for 20-30 miles. Brutus getting the extra distance.
